    Totally!

Cool of MI to upload it.

Joe never fails to sound amazing, but he really sounds great with Theo Saunders here. On fire.

There is also a Q&A about 40 min in. Good stuff.

Joe was an amazing player. Not sure if he is able to perform these days post-stroke.

    Thanks for posting this.

and now an hour of Jimmy Bruno

-be advised this is a clinic, not really a performance like the Diorio clip. Still great however. Jimmy's Buddy Rich story is priceless.

This is a good vid a lot of beginners could benefit from how Jimmy views theory and how he goes about playing jazz.
I like how Jimmy breaks down how he learned through the "school of hard knocks" playing types of situations.
That Buddy Rich story was too much.
Getting hit in the head with drumsticks because Buddy doesn't like your solo. :fisticuffs

It's a shame Joe recorded so few albums, but the ones he did (especially the ones on RAM from the early 90s) are musical treasures.

Intervallic Designs (and the follow-up, Jazz Structures For The New Millennium) has done more to expand my guitar playing than anything else.
