    Hey Frank,

If they lasted this long, they should outlast us!

I had a customer who got a returned envelope yesterday. Same address they always send the checks too but someone rejected it. And it is a PO box

Got my shipping notice today! Might have to take some time off Friday to play if it arrives by then.

Killer rig. Man, I’ve always wanted a ZVex Nano... Last time I went on a low watt amp quest though, I ended up with a killer sounding Marshall JTM-1 Custom Offset head and cab. Maybe one of these days I’ll break down and get the Nano. Haha

    Hey thanks! :)

If you keep an eye on ebay there are some killer Nano deals occasionally...two months ago, my little brother scored a standard coloured blue Nano for just over £100!!:cool:

14 days of isolation should be a good start

    Argh.

My shipping error was my mistake. Analog Man received the return and quickly turned it around, to the correct shipping address this time. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow ... :drool

I'm jealous watching you guys get your new Sunfaces in the mail. I ordered on 3/12, so hopefully my BART is coming up right up in the next week or so. And then someone else can be jealous of me for a change.

A word of caution here. I just got a Sun Face RCA/NKT bought on Reverb, and in the spirit of the coronavirus, I wiped the pedal down with an alcohol wipe and promptly lost most the red ink labeling front and back. Can still make out what’s printed (eg. NKT) but barely. Sure sounds great though.

Wow. Good advice. A little bit of airing out with UV light probably does a good job to take care of any potential virus.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I'm sure you are not the only one to do this, but yeah, the alcohol wipes will remove it.

I am the proud owner of a BC183 Sun Face (EJ fan) and it's the first FF type pedal that I've really loved! I love its smooth, saturated tones...but it is rather quiet and compressed compared to my previous Ge FF style pedals. is there a Germanium transistor that is closest to this in terms of fatness/smoothness? Judging by the Sun Face page descriptors, maybe the 2SB175 or NKT? I'd appreciate any advice, cheers!

I put about 2 hours into the BART again today but this time though a little '66 Vibrochamp and it absolutely screams. For anyone having a tough time with the Fuzzface circuit; IMO it loves low wattage fender-esque amps. I actually found some pretty fat sounds with the fuzz dial around 3 and the vol pushing the amp just a touch. It's pretty insane the differences the transistors can make
