Hello all I'm looking for an app that runs on Android that does the same things as GarageBand bias other iPhone applications. I

simply want to be able to plug in my guitar to my original iRig adapter and listen using headphones and perhaps have a few amp models to choose from. What's out there and what are the tgp recommendations and faves?

There are no programs like iRig for Android, and I understand it's due to the way the audio processing engine in Android works. It's just not capable of doing real time guitar processing.

That really sux! I guess I'll keep my old iPhone (with all it's great apps) in my gig bag, then.

I've been contemplating a new Nexus 6 or iPhone 6 Plus - think I'll go back to i/os.

Any timelines on better audio in the Android world? I must admit, I'm quite shocked by this!
