1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Just wanted to say a few words about this gem of an instrument. Just like a great guitar, a really special amplifier makes you go places and discover colors you didn't know were there before. I live in an apartment and can't really wind this baby up too often, but just the clean sounds (and amazing reverb) have me almost not caring that I can't distort the beautiful voice of this amp. Though I will admit that the overdrive and distortion are wonderful as well. Springy, alive, articulate and rich. Guitar (preferably tele) > cord > amp. All you need with a Swart. In summary, play this amp if you have the chance.
