Angels/Angel City: Man these guys rocked

    I have been an Angel City/Angels fan since junior high school.
    I remember listening to "I dont wanna face the day" in the morning before a particularly hard day at school.
    I still have their Darkroom album and thought Id check out some live vids from them.
    Man these guys really smoked. Great band and looks like they were fantastic live.
    Here is both Straight Jacket from '79 and Marseilles from a reunion of the original band from maybe '08? (It doesnt say.)
    Doc's voice sounded really good after all these years too.

    The Angels rocked hard, man I must have seen them 13/14 times over the years.....they played everywhere, propper road pigs for sure.

    Saw them back up the Kinks in 79 and they destroyed....left the place saying "who in the hell were they" rocked hard :bounce

    I remember when they first came out, they got accused of being an AC/DC clone. I think at the time this hampered their popularity some, they likely would have made a much bigger splash without the bad press of that.
