It is prety obvious he is known as one of the best recreators of the authentic bursts LPs.

Can anyone chime in on his 335 builds?

I'd ask Cliff at DAG?

(Though I personally know he's realliy in love with his McKay 335, telling me it's the best ever. Figure with the ammount of great builders that pass through his hands-lot more than he represents, BTW, that he should have a good idea.)

My .02, YMMV

Awesome, congratulations!! Looks like the pole pieces are setup below the pickup covers. Is that the hot setup on a 335 type?

I think they should be about level. Besides this guitar will probably have a low neck angle so there is not much room above the humbuckers to play with. Makes it logical to keep the poles low.

Hey Rig,

Just got off the phone with Cliff, and he tells me you changed your mind and want the burst?

So now this guitar is available? (If Cliff doesn't keep it for himself, as he's threatening to do...!) Apparently a pretty amazing guitar.

Hi
Artguy,
Definitely NOT changing my mind on this one.
I think you may be thinking of the McKay's Cliff has in stock or will very soon.

Yes, Cliff emailed me and told me about my mistake. Thought that (somehow) this was a photo of a McKay (oooops!) Still a beautiful guitar, congratulations.

REALLY SORRY IF I CAUSED ANY STRESS OR CONFUSION, MY BAD!
