Sometimes I just need to forget about theory, tonality, inside/outside, blah blah... and just bend some strings :)

This is another backing i got from guitarbt.com, its basically "Born Under A Bad Sign".

    Hi Anton,

I really liked your take. The wah-wah part was very inspirational. I have to get my right foot a bit more busy I think.

    Cheers,

This playing with a bit more treble and less gain woulda made me hard...even with low blood pressure. And I don't even mind the wah.

Cool Tune... The drum recording is really good. What recording system do you have?. How many mic's on the drums?

That sounded pretty trebly to me already, I thought the tone was great!

By the way, Red Ant, your playing style is exactly what I hope to play like after some more practicing. Nice take, and as always, great tracks.

Your tone sounds "rougher" than usual. What did you use? It's not a bad thing, just usually it's a lot smoother and not so edgy.

    A Neve EQ, a Red Fanf instead of a V30, and a Beta 56 instead of a SM57 or E609.

Anton: Classy classic phrasing, amazing touch. Wow.

PAF: Fat tone, nice phrasing, I would prefer the guitar a little lower in the mix but sounds cool as it is:)

    dallas: Spacey tone, cool take!

Ed: Crazy cool stuff! Weirdeness and extra honky mids, hey that's you!!!! :p

Adam: Great stuff bro! Was that the Peters amp?

Oh, okay, those things would change it for sure! Also your playing in the beginning was very punchy and then later you pulled out your great legato lines.

What amp was that? A THD of some sort, I'd guess?
