No it’s just an amp shaped desktop. Neural is getting into the consumer electronics market. An amp-shaped desktop editor?
I’m a huge Devin Townsend fan, so it’ll be a definite purchase for me, if only to support him. It's probably just that Devin Townsend plugin mentioned a while ago. Modelled straight off his AxeFX 3.
Neural DSP Archetype: Rhett Shull
It feature-packed with a Pretentious Hipster™ mode and “shake the neck” pitch modulator to use with your expression pedal.
It also promises to have a UI that is much easier to dial-in while performing live than the Axe-FX III.
That was my thought as well. It's probably just that Devin Townsend plugin mentioned a while ago.
It includes a digital recreation of “my dream amp,” after “playing through (almost) every amp,” and “the best transparent overdrive I’ve ever used.”Everytime you save a new preset it's programmed to email a copy to Rick Beato for approval before you're allowed to use it.
Like, subscribe, buy my method, master class, etc.Oh, and don’t forget, his preset pack will be available for purchase at rhettshull.com.
For a company who has openly regarded the QUAD CORTEX as their #1 line of effort and the plugins as a means-to-an-end until the QC was released, they sure are constantly churning out these plugins and relatively ignoring their customer base who has invested $1850 a pop towards their vision.
Hot take of course.
