Today I've had the chance to hear that grooooooovy Red Ant jam and I decided to try playin' some stuff over it: No need to say that I am Mr. Sloppy (hahaha) I will hear all the other takes and comment on them as soon as possible :)

    So here is the chain:

Haar Strat (brand new, LOVE IT) --> RMC Picture wah --> Mojo vibe --> Chicago Iron Octavia (I've used the plain fuzz setting, not octavia) --> Maxon SD9 (always on) --> BJF Sea Blue EQ (always on, love that pedal!) --> Germino Club 40 --> THD Hotplate --> THD 2x12 --> Greenback(wow, sweet speaker!) --> SM57

    Hi,

That's an inspiring clip! One thing I particurlarly liked was your use of effects to accentuate parts of melodies, making the effects both integral and expanding the sound at the same time, never riding on top non connected, but holding a vocal quality.

    Bjorn,

It is an honor for me: you checking out my little clip, thank you for the kind words:) This a clip that I've recorded in my bedroom with a small crappy Behringer mixer, a Soundblaster and Cubase :) It was a first-take thing, I just got the Haar strat and the Greenback so I wanted to check how these sound.

No need to mention how much I love the Sea Blue EQ, such a gentle enchancer and a very powerful recording tool. I've used in some sessions the last two weeks and I am really excited, it is by far the best eq/boost pedal I've ever had. I am also waiting for the Dyna Red, more noisy clips to come!!! It will hopefully replace the Maxon SD9, a pedal that I have this love/hate relationship :) Then a Pine Green Compressor and then an Emerald Green Distortion and then.... (hahaha)

    Be well Mr. Mad Professor:)

Mucho cool! I liked the Hendrix/Landau/ Beck vibe you had goin' on there.
This proves that there's more than a couple of ways to skin a cat.

Cool how your were outling the bass in the beginning.

Really, really like a couple of those chords/double stops you did.

    Nice development overall
