I decided to build another guitar from parts that I have. This one is a bit different. The body I bought a while ago to try and make a seventies body. So it came with no neck holes drilled, just body pickup routes. it was also mahogany and fairly light. I never did the seventies project so I spent the last couple of days making this. Dark mahogany body, stained and covered with a few coats of lacquer. The pickups are some older black fiber bobbins that I had. They are all orphans and I have no idea who made them. The neck I think is a squire neck that has a funky fender decal applied.

I still have parts but anything else I build would be bizarre, so this is it until I get bored again.

I love mahogany as a body wood. That's just the kind of orphan parts build that can turn into a really good guitar.

    How's it sound?

    That looks amazing Chuck.

    You're batting 2 for 2.

Both of you guitar projects are winners.

So killer that you have enough parts at home to pull of 2 guitar
    projects.

Take care and be careful in SA.

You take care also. I have not been down in a while and I'm not sure with all this quarantine stuff when I will get back down. I have not played this yet. Perhaps in a few minutes I will go upstairs and give it a try.

After we get all this CV19 behind us, and you can make it down to CC, give me a heads up.

We can do lunch and talk guitars and share our latest pawnshop stories.
