Another question about Wah...

Hi,
I have recently purchased a Chi Wah Wah and for the first time in my life I am using a Wah that is activated by a simple touch of my foot.
It's amazing and much more comfortable.
I think there is not a potentiometer... Optical? I really don't know.
Question:
Why don't the most famous boutique builders use this system yet?
What do they think about it?
What do you my friends also think about it?

A footswitch activated wah can be just as good as an optical as long as it's well executed such as my CAE wah.
