So I was watchin Radiohead's performance of 15 Step on youtube [when they recently played on jools]

I know it's probably MIDI stuff with Jonny's mac.
I'm not quite sure what Ed's doin.

Hopefully some of you who have more experience with MIDI and experimental electronic sstuff can help!

    :D
Whoever helped with the cycling74 stuff was rad!

    Thanks a ton

it looks like he has a sampler with a bunch of samples assigned to multiple pads. here's the scotch mist performance which is a little easier to see.

    Thanks a lot!
Would anybody have an idea as to what program he might be running it with? [jonny]
or if it's just stock stuff

Well, Ed's spending most of the time just triggering sample playback (the sustained, synthy tones on the final bridge/outro thing). Jonny appears to be just triggering the drum machine patterns from a MIDI pedalboard. Nothing too trickery.
