Awesome guitar tone on that 1969 live album . I know both keef and mick where playing through ampeg 300 watt bass amp heads on that evening (along with wyman).. They Where the SVT prototypes . My question is , where they also playing through ampeg bass cabinets with bass speakers?? . It looks like it in pictures But I cant really tell.

That would make sense, those Ampeg tube stacks were real popular at the time, and NOTHING can shake walls and make furniture walk the way they can.
Most guys paired the heads up with Ampeg cabs because they sounded great together.

No - according to the Ampeg book in an interview with the Ampeg employee that traveled with the band as a tech they were 4x12s from the ST-42 solid state line of amps that preceeded the SVT. Wyman used 2x15 cabs. I don't think the 8x10 cabs came about until 1970 or '71.

The Oakland 1969 show, recorded from the soundboard to at least 8 tracks, to me is the definitive example of that era.
I have the infamous original bootleg LP.
I heard they were considering or did release it on CD, anybody know??
