So I was listening to a demo of the Boss SL-20 on youtube by a guy that did a stereo demo of it....and damm WAS IT AWESOME!

But thing is, I don't think I'm willing to spend that much cash for only that effect (yes I might use it for some songs, but that's just it...)

BUT! (another but...) I just LOVED the stereo image it creates! :S

So i was wondering if you guys know any pedal that can do that by itself...for example have it in the end of your fx chain and then have it connected to 2 amps. So that pedal would just create panning effects and stuff like that!

(for lazy people here are the features of the sl-20, you can click on the image to have a close look at the "3D STEREO" options )
    http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=959

    the modes are :
    Fixed
    Random
    Ping-Pong
    Auto
    An "X" thingy with arrows
And a "Circling" arrow thingy (that's what i liked the most on the demo!)

So any of you good sirs know a pedal that can do without having to "slice" stuff?

Thanks in advance for your answers guys! :)

Never used this function on mine, though I should have.

You can get somewhat of the same thing going with a stereo delay. The Timeline or the Timefactor have stereo outs (and ins for that matter). They won't do all of the crazy patterns that this things does, and they are not exactly "slicing" the audio the same way, but you can get a similar effect with Ping Pong on the Timefactor or Dual Delay on the Timeline.

Stereo delay, Stereo reverb. Subtle stereo pitchshift, all will help you get a 3d vibe to your tone.

    BOSS PN-2 (behringer tremelo-pan)
    BOSS DC-2 (behringer space chorus)

used with two amps, of course.

    I already use stereo delay/reverb/tremolo.

    Tremolo : Ehx Pulsar
    Stereo into...
    Reverb : Ehx Cathedral
    Stereo into...
    Delay : Digitech Time Bender
    Stereo into...
    2 Amps.

But the slicer seems like it will gimme so many new dimensions and options !
Guess i have to buy it then, might make use of the slice effect too, but when i don't need it i can just have the dry signal full on the pedal.
