Any chance this $90 neck is any good?

I need a neck for a project Tele I'm working on and I did some poking around the 'net and found this Mighty Mite neck on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Mite-M...PEAU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1330589187&sr=8-4

Semi-ok-looking necks seem to bring $200-$300 and primo ones go for $500 on up, all of which is out of my range for this project (if I can help it, anyway).

Any thoughts on what the odds are that it will play worth a damn?

    Thanks,

    John

I have a Mighty Mite neck on my Strat, because it was a lot cheaper than a refret. It has a really strong v-shape that took some getting used to, but its fine otherwise. The fretwork is good, though the ends are a bit rough right now because of the dry weather. The nut was actually perfect out of the box, needing no work at all. Worth every bit of $90, in my opinion, especially with that Amazon free shipping.
