I love SG'd, but Gibson's QC is somewhat spotty, and I would like to have one built exactly to my specs.

    Any ideas?

with a basic understanding of Scott's pricing i'd probably say somewhere
in the 2.2k- 2.7K..maybe a little more because he'd need to hand shape the body ( not sure if he has the SG programmed in CNC )

but maybe i'm completely wrong too:Spank

That Heatley's freakin' gorgeous! Beats the hell out of the SG Supremes.

Mojo's probably got it right. Scott recently quoted me ~$2400. for a real basic mahogany block SG (modeled after the brown one FZ played through most of the '70s) that I was thinking of having made. But it's probably best to call him and ask him yourself. He's a nice guy and easy to talk to. Good luck!

He has a website now and he does build a killer SG. The only reason I know is he made my cabinets for my Bumbox Lead 12 amp and extension cab. Here is a link:

I noticed that to. You could send Nate an email and he can tell you how to contact him. Here is the Bumbox website:

Scott and I built this one..

I always wanted a Pelham blue SG but couldn't swing an original. I used all original parts including patent sticker pafs.

<Disclaimer: Not looking to build another, just thought I'd share my personal guitar>

The website is in it's infancy. Aaron is an extremely low production builder (maybe 5 or 6 guitars every 2-3 months). Without speaking for him too much, Aaron doesn't do many custom guitars and he is not good about responding to email. Info on new guitars will be added to the website when it is available.
