Not sure of a model, but I once saw Scott Ian of Anthrax play an identical guitar around the time of "Among the Living".

    So Cal, homie. Ratta-Tat-Tat.
Looks like the bolt-on run from late '80's/early 90's.

E-mail your pic to the ESP tech house in Japan and see if they can help you out -- techhouse@espguitars.net

    Good luck

Yes he did. John Gallagher from Raven also had a black one like this.

Isn't there a word written on the headstock right beside 'ESP'?
I don't think there was a common production model ESP Tele like that. I think this was likely part of a short(ish) run of guitars although I would not call myself an ESP expert.

That leads me to think even more along the lines that it was one of a small run of guitars. Mick Mars from Motley Crue used one.

I think it is a nice one...I hope you plan to keep it!!

thats cute as esp was making kramers for them at some pt...

esp japan had names that they would reuse often making things confusing.
they've had some teles in the early 80s that were named eclipse.
today the lp shaped guitars are called eclipse.
also there are multiple horizons. an offset one and the one we see frequently in the states.
