I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on the 10" Greenback especially if you're using them in Fender/Fender type amps. Any opinions would be welcome, Thanks.
Hmm. I'm having visions of running two Vox AC4's in stereo. I already have one with a 10" Gold in it, but what if the other one had a 10" Greenback?
The one with the 10" GB will be quite a bit quieter.Hmm. I'm having visions of running two Vox AC4's in stereo. I already have one with a 10" Gold in it, but what if the other one had a 10" Greenback?
Agreed. They sound much like 12" greenbacks to me.. Perfect with my JTM45 (which is basically a tweed bassman circuit).. but they don't work so well with my blackface head.. They lack the clarity/chime needed to give that blackface tone.
That's an old post and quite frankly I was DEAD WRONG. Greenbacks sound great with princeton reverbs and deluxe reverbs IMO.I know Jim Campilongo uses the 10" Greenback in his Blackface Princeton Reverb.
