I have a p bass project that I am getting ready to build and am in need of a neck. I was going to go Warmoth but mine as well try out one of the new replacement necks being offered by Fender. The price difference between the MIM and MIA necks is pretty high, $199 and $499 respectively. For this project I don't really care if the neck says it's made in the USA because the body is coming from a Squier anyway. Should I pocket the difference and go with the MIM or is there something fundamentally different with the construction of the MIA neck (quality of fretboard wood, fret size, truss rod??) or is it just the MIA sticker that increases the price?
