I've been considering a Mackie Onnyx but heard a very glowing report of this board. Great deal at $439 with a USB interface. I'm looking for a smal board for recordign with my Mac and live use with powered speakers. Anybody using/heard these?

I think that series came out not too long ago. Might not be many people that have them yet. FWIW I have not been let down by a A&H product yet.

We put one in our small studio.

Really well-built, decent pres, lots of functionality for the heart of a home studio. Sounds good, but I haven't done a real mix through it yet.

The USB is limited to 44.1/16-bit, so that's a bit of a caveat. It's pretty nice for recording quick practice room demos, tho.

I would recommend it over anything else in that price range.
