Just bought a Creamback yesterday and was wondering what you guys think about them?
they are good
I have them in a 2X12 cab I use with a JTM 45/50 clone ... great sound. I run a blues junior through one speaker sometimes and it sounds way warmer and less ice picky then the stock fender speaker.
Half of a quad in my big cab.
I've got one paired with a Scumback M75 in a tweed circuit. Sounds great! I slightly prefer it over the M75 but they compliment each other well.
That is a great mix right there.
I just switched out a 20 watt reissue for a 65 watt cream back in a 1974X clone
and it made the amp come back to life in such a good way that I,m astounded!
W.T.F don,t let anybody tell you that speakers don,t make a huge difference.
I'm a big fan of the Creamback M's... they sounded great right outta the box. They seem to work equally well with british and american amps.
Love the Creambacks.
I pulled a Celestion Gold out of my Dr. Z 1X12 and replaced it with a Creamback to use with the Dr. Z Remedy. It worked well taming this amp being less efficient.
Sold the Remedy and now have a Rockitt Retro 50 being built that I can't wit to run through the Creamback.
They sound great with my Rockitt Retro 50.
Love mine in a Forte 2x12V!!!
I'm using a Creamback in my 1x12 with my Remedy. Records wonderfully, sounds great live too. Amazing speaker.
I have an M65 in my DeArmond R15. It matches up very well with this circuit.
I haven't found a situation where I prefer a Creamback over a Greenback yet in a 1x12, but when paired together the compliment each other well.
I didn't love mine. A bit too much upper mid for my amp. I like the G12-65 much more b/c of the tamer high end.
