Love JJ. Unbelievable chops, style, abilities, tone. I really dig his slap-back country stuff on Orange Blossom Special.

I spent a few minutes talking to him once, very personable.
I'm a big Hellecasters fan and enjoy his Gypsy Jazz cd as well.

That man is dangerous. I have an Elton John live DVD and John is on there. Playing guitar one minute, steel guitar, even sax! DANGEROUS!!!! Not to mention his work with the Hellecasters!!!

Jon is a great all-around musician. He did a lot of session work in Nashville in the early-mid-90's. There are some great chops on those records.

He is always moving into new areas to learn and keep his playing exciting.

JJ is amazing....found him through the Hellecasters, then went back and discovered the Desert Rose Band. Also saw him on one of his gypsy jazz tours, such a versatile and impressive player.

The man does it all; country pickin, whammy licks (a la Jeff Beck), swing music (a la Django)...what a great guitarist!

+1 Jorgenson is one of the most well-rounded and versatile players out there. And the scary thing is, he may even be a better clarinet player than a guitar player!

I would highly recommend any Jorgenson fans pick up his latest CD of gypsy swing music, "Ultraspontane." Nearly all of the tunes are original, and IMHO he goes a long way into taking this old style of music in some refreshing new directions.

Big Hellecasters fan here. I sure wish they'd get back together for about 10 more CDs. Until the CD player in my car died, they were in constant rotation. Some of the best driving music ever!
