Im just done picking up a new O/D to replace my Crunch box, the CB is good and its been on board for like.. a year and a half now so its done very well but Im finding it a little thin when I kick it in now, so.. I played a few drives this morning and ended up with a bluesbreaker re-issue, it has a fatter low end and is a little smoother, bass isnt as tight but thats what a BB is like naturally and I kinda like it.
    Anyone else get into them?

My other choises were a Blue Boy Deluxe, Super Overdrive, Sparkle Drive, Tube Zone, Blues Pro, Moller,
I play through a JMP 72 and greenback 4x12 cab.

I use the older black Bluesbreaker pedal occasionally.

I've owned a few originals..they are somewhat removed from the re-issues. Great unsung pedals, remind me of a good Tubescreamer.

I love my original Bluesbreaker. There's nothing else I have found quite like it, though I am no pedal authority.

It is what is says: JTM45 overdrive. What is not to love?

it sound ok, just don't use boost mode. It sound crap when tuned up. I used to use it for a rocky tone. It really is a one trick pony. man this makes me wanta go dig it up and play with it.

I built a GGG MBB Clone...
it's incredible. On the LP it's just another OD, but on the Strat
it's just nuts...I love it. Nice punchy lower strings, sweet
    highs...gotta love it!
