I suppose this is an old topic but I need some new music and to make it worse, the majority of new indie stuff I hear bores the hell outta me. I want something with some punch and power. I don't wanna learn to like stuff. It's either good or it's not. I certainly didn't have to talk myself into liking the beatles, or the stones, or zep, or bowie, or......the list goes on. YOu get the idea. Who's just killin it nowdays that I'm not hearing. Inspire me!! Please!

If you don't like either of those, I probably can't help you.

Apparently if you rock hard enough, you don't have to plug in your marshall heads. (3:30) :)

To be honest Band of Horses is one of my favorite bands to come out in the last 5 years or whatever it's been. However, I don't go to them for, as I said, "power and punch". Remember the first time you heard ac/dc and had to straighten out your mustache! I'd like to believe I'm just overlooking things but maybe it's just over.

These are the only two "new" bands I've heard in a while that stuck with me:

AC/DC was born from a band called The Easybeats.... Relax man, enjoy.

Later Jimmy Barnes and INXS did a cover of this Easybeats tune....
