Anybody have any recommendations for a replacement speaker for a Pro Jr.? Especially interested in anything from Eminence. I usually run it clean and get dirt from pedals.

For something British flavoured, go for the RamRod. Great speaker. PM sent.

Yep, British all the way. I've got a Celestion Vintage 10 in mine and it absolutely rocks. Sounds more Marshall than some Marshalls. :AOK

to those of you who have upgraded ...

Other than just being different tone wise, would you say it was a huge improvement over the stock speaker? Grade on a bit of a curve if you can, obviously you bought a speaker to tune the amp to your ears and will be better. Is it really "better" of just different.

Any clips out there with other speakers?

I really dig the Private Jacks, too bad they don't make a 10"

I switched the stock 10" speaker in my Pro Jr ten years ago to an alnico Weber P10R. I really like how it's sounded ever since and haven't changed it.

little old clip of a scratch song idea...

I think that it definitely made it sound BETTER, not just different. Stronger lows, more detailed mids, more detailed high end, punchier, and alot less boxy.
