Same licks, in order from clean/neck pup to clean bridge pup to dirty neck & dirty bridge: one sample panned left and the other panned right:

Other than the panning, any appreciable differences jump out?

There is, although I'm having trouble finding the words to describe it. The second of each pair is slightly more defined, tighter?, not exactly compressed - maybe buffered? The second would likely sit better in a mix to my ears.

Well, it's a bit academic, since both sides were recorded direct & not mic'd up properly. But one side is my Shiva without anything in the fx loop, and the other side is the Shiva with the special level-reducing cable from Bogner running into my pedalboard and then back into the Shiva's amp-boost circuit. I wanted to see how drastic a difference in tone there was from using the cable with resistors in it and the amp-boost with its op-amp, vs. not using the loop at all.
