I dig 'em. "Show Me How to Live" is a personal fave.

Love 'em. A couple cuts from Revelations came up on shuffle for me today, as did "Exploder."

Love the band, but Morello's "solos" are just ridiculous on most of it. Just pure wank, nonsense in my opinion. Some of the best riffs ever, but I hate his solos.

I remember I got my hands on the leaked demos or whatever back in the day and listened to them for a year or two. Then I got the first two albums, but didn't listen to them as much as when I had the leaked demos. They had some awesome songs on them though.

Really dug them when they came out and I still have their first album in my gigantic playlist. I always listen when a song comes up. Would like to see them get back together for an album/tour.

I'll be honest, I'm a huge fan of the 2 bands that made Audioslave up but was pretty disappointed when they first hit.
I really like them now though after I set my expectations aside.

One of the most disappointing bands, for me. Based on my expectations, of course.
I was excitedly anticipating a badmotorfinger-ish Cornell fronting one the heaviest rock bands of the time.
That is not what I got.

But for those that did think they were great, I'm glad.
I just felt they could have been so much more.
Even so, I think they should have been more successful than they were.

Whenever we start off a set with that song, I always do the "chopper" intro. Such a fun song to play, especially when the bass player has a way pedal!

I should probably listen to Audioslave again; I bought the first two albums when they came out, but at the time, to me, they sounded too much like a Frankenstein monster, RATM's body with Soundgarden's head sewn on, rather than an organic and unified band. I had a similar reaction to Velvet Revolver.

I like that first album. Good songs, I can do without the weddley solos but other than that, great stuff!

I am a huge fan. I think they are highly underrated. Great song writing, great guitar riffs and one of the best voices in rock.

Two underrated tracks from each release:

    Exploder
    Getaway Car
    Heaven's Dead
    #1 zero (or The Curse)
    Wide Awake
    Moth

More often than not I found these mashups to be interesting and enjoyable. That includes stuff like Motley Crue with Corabi and Black Sabbath with Gillan, established bands that changed vocalists but not their name.

These are pretty much all my favorites, with Getaway Car taking the top spot. One of my favorite guitar solos from Morello in that one, too.

I was shuffling through my iTunes and listened to the whole first album this past weekend, I forgot how much I love that album.

I agree with great riffs, great songs but many guitar solos that make me want to skip to the next song.
