Particularly for single guitar bands and live situations. Any usefull tips? Perhaps dual amping and micing techniques?

I have an old digitech rack that has a button that says doulbler.I press it and it does just what you want.
I think K&R Musical products makes a stomp box version.

Well, I am using a bit of delay and it helps but still this doesnt sound as huge. I am using a GT-10 and an Atomic Reactor recently.

I was thinking along the lines of using the dual amp feature of the GT-10 and sending signal both to the P.A. and the atomic.

The venues are small clubs with mono setups always!

During tracking - two different speakers into two different microphones , during mix - delays , reverbs etc....

Why mono? There are two sides of PA.Btw real stereo effect can be heard only in big PA systems when PA is louder than stage amps.
