Alright, well...I have lots of questions. I'm a mediocre player looking to get serious about playing. Can I PM any "pros" that would be willing to put up with my very ignorant questions?

There's also the Playing and Technique section. Just to get you started, I've moved this thread there. ;)

Basically, I want to know the structure of it. What difference does nut size make, different woods...pots...all that.

Not sure what the "it" means. But it sounds like you are looking for specification differences and their affects on "tone" maybe?

All all of those things have some affect on tone, or "toneability".

Your original posted sounded like some playing questions.

Your question might be better answered/asked in the Guitars in General or the Acoustic Instruments forum depending on what style of guitar your talking.

I'm sure someone here can help but I know the guys in those other forums would be all over it.

Yeah, try it again. Your first post made it sound like you were looking for playing info instead of guitar spec info. Just reword your post.
