Announced at winter namm 11 & not a word since.
Is it still in the pipeline ?
My guess is that they're rethinking that shared eq on Ch1/Ch2.
Wouldn't be the first time that something was introduced at NAMM only to disappear before production (Peavey JSX50).
I'd love to hear one back-to-back against the new SuperSonic 100 head.
I doubt they rethink the shared eq. Ed doesn't care, the original 5150 had a shared eq. I also remember an interview with that amps designer James Brown where he said originally Ed asked for it to only have one knob. Just volume. I guess in his head everyone would want the same settings he used and only needed a volume control.
Here's hoping it remains as presented at the namm show.
For just under 1K it seems like a winner.
Thanks to you both for the input.
