Any Word On The EVH 50-Watter ?

    Announced at winter namm 11 & not a word since.

    Is it still in the pipeline ?

    My guess is that they're rethinking that shared eq on Ch1/Ch2.

    Wouldn't be the first time that something was introduced at NAMM only to disappear before production (Peavey JSX50).

    I'd love to hear one back-to-back against the new SuperSonic 100 head.

    I doubt they rethink the shared eq. Ed doesn't care, the original 5150 had a shared eq. I also remember an interview with that amps designer James Brown where he said originally Ed asked for it to only have one knob. Just volume. I guess in his head everyone would want the same settings he used and only needed a volume control.

    For just under 1K it seems like a winner.
