Just like the title says, has anyone compared these 2 amps? They more or less seem the same, just curious if you think the Germino is worth the extra $.

    If so, why?

Well they both are based on the same schematic using high end parts. Only difference being transformers and possibly caps / resistor composition. The differences are going to be subtle and probably wouldn't translate well outside the room.

I've had the Club 40, currently have a Rockitt lead spec.
The Club 40 is a great, great amp capable of many sounds.
The Rockitt is also a great amp. Warren Mendonsa uses his Rockitt bass spec to great effect. You can find his posts with videos of the amp in action around here.
Greg Germino and Kevin of Rockitt both provide great customer service.
If your budget is tight, the Rockitt is a great buy. If you can afford it, can't go wrong with a Germino.

I would buy a Rockitt just for Kevin's customer service alone. You don't become a customer, you become his friend. Even though I no longer own a Rockitt, I can still call him about other amp-related questions and he is more than happy to help. Great guy!!
