    Hey all...

Got my Mark V 1x12 combo a few weeks back... :drool

Just wondering if anybody has ever tried buying some of the old style knobs from the Mark IV series and sticking them on the Mark V?

I was just kinda curious if they'd fit (I wouldn't mind if they hid the text a little bit)... I like that style of knob better on my guitars and I think it would look sharp on the Mark V. Whad'ya think?

I don't think they would fit. Not much clearance there, the faceplate trim comes within about 1/8" from the knobs as it is. The older style knobs have a wide flange at the base that would prevent the knob from being pushed all the way down without hitting the faceplate trim.

Bummer but it's no biggie. I just like those vintage-y looking knobulars!
