Anybody here use the Alessandro Muzzle/Attenuator?

    This is the same design as the Komet and Dr Z AirBrake.

    I had one not bad but not near the best I have tried. One it didn't get quiet enough, two it distorted the tone at the minimum setting, three it was huge.

    I have two and they are my fave. One 8 ohm and one 4 ohm. The 50w ones are more normal size. The custom 100w models are absolutely huge.

    They work very well for reasonable attenuation levels. Which means getting proper balance with your band, not attaining bedroom level volume.

    Hi guys,
    I thought I would revive this thread with all the attenuator talking going on...

    I just bought a used Alessandro Muzzle tonight from gear page member and won't be able to try it until Wednesday.

    Anyone own one or use one? I've read good things about it and while it is in a weird long metal box and looks odd...I wonder if it really works well like people claim.

    I have a HO (UA) on the way as well as a Alex's attenuator but got this one cheap so figured why not buy it.

    Thoughts?
