Anybody swap out GFS Mean 90's for something else?

    Looking for something with a little more grunt to it but still retain a niced top end.

    I have a Mean 90/Dream 90 combo I want to put in an Epi Dot project - along with good electronics and a host of upgrades of course.

    I have a Dream 90 neck pickup which is quite grunty, possibly because I run it through a Roger Mayer Axis Fuzz most of the time.

    Just realized the title on my post wasn't clear. I have a set of Mean 90's that I installed in my Schecter C-1, replacing the Duncan Designed HBers it came with. I'm generally pretty happy with them, but always wondering what else is out there. I was hoping to hear from someone who had installed the Mean 90s and then gone on to something else they liked better.

    Personally, I really like the Dream 90's. More clarity and high end, less honk and plenty of power. 'Complex' would be a good word to describe the sound.

    I always thought that would make a super pickup combo.
