If you did, what did you buy and what did you think? Was looking at SG cases and they have two tradional hard cases and a "flight case", all below what one would pay for like looking cases at MF, GC, SA, etc.

I've got a rectangular Fender-style case from Rondo. It's just as nice as the std Fender cases I've seen. I've been hauling guitars around in for several years now and it's been plenty sturdy.

Oh, I was just looking on the Rondo site and they don't even list the case I bought anymore, so it must be an older one. It's CNB case, black outside, black inside. No odd smells either :D

I bought a goldtop Agile second-hand, a few years back. Incredible guitar and the case it came with (the original tweed rectangular HSC it was shipped in from Rondo, according to the owner) was beautiful looking but the clasp hardware was cheap, cheap, cheap.

Still... because it's a shipped guitar, better for you to order the HSC... your guitar stands a much better chance of arriving at your door unscathed.

The brown cases aren't bad -- but the current ones have ONE neck support, where the older ones had two.
