Anyone else catching "The King" on TCM tonight?

Watching a 1972 tour of Elvis and the amount of joy that performing brought him is apparent and very moving. Anyone else watching this?

I watched it too. How medicated was he and how much was he preternaturally relaxed onstage..?

I watched Viva Las Vegas right before that and Ann Margaret looked so hot I didn't think much about Elvis. The tour stuff was good but I just couldn,t get into the whole Jumpsuit, karate kicks and the whole thing going at the time. I did think he was great though when he did the whole Rockabilly thing. But he sure had alot of fans who liked the other stuff.
