I got curious about it when I read that 2HBStrat was seen there so I checked it out. Amazingly, not only am I already a member (apparently I joined in 2003, something I'd never have known were it not in my profile there), I remembered my PW.

So here I am today, 16 years later, with my - count 'em - 9th post! Perhaps fittingly, it features a pigeon. :p

I used to post there but the admin is a bit over the top for me, in general. The building forum is (or was) quite active and many talented people posted and answered questions. I also forgot about that place, maybe I will check it out again.

I'm over there also; don't currently have a Tele but still post about Fender history, helping figure out what years are what, etc.

I had an account there and was active maybe 3+ years ago or more, but I found the site a bit cumbersome.

Maybe I should go and have a little fun with 2HB again?!? :D

Some, but just for some very specific reasons. It's been years since I posted there.

I'm in both, but with diminishing electric-playing not often for either.

That's my second site but I'm not over there as often. The organization of the site could be improved.

Pre reissue, it was my first foray into guitar discussion boards, or any social media type site. And for a while after the change I was active too. Never had an issue with Paul Green being too heavy handed, thought he did a pretty good job, he just had his ideas and that was fine with me. New ownership now, no idea what they're like.

After I discovered TGP though I just kind of drifted over here, more activity here was the reason, not any other unhappiness with the TDPRI. I was going between the two but gradually stopped going there. Just looked, I have 5,913 posts and I'm a Poster Extrodinaire! And also some alerts, that I just got some likes three weeks ago--for a 16 year old post.

Used to be active on TDPRI. A lot of knowledgeable folks on that site. I learned so much. Like others I found mgmt to be, uh, not great. Also, it's my perception that the posting culture shifted over time; got really tired of reading threads that were clearly all about sharing our various opinions and experiences (vs facts and specs) - which can be useful - but you'd still get a ton of posters who would offer their Opinion as Fact, as if they just came down from the mountain having talked to God about this topic, stone tablets under each arm, and so on.

I look at it every day but I'm not what you'd call a "regular" poster.

I was very active there for quite awhile, but I haven’t done much there for a few years. I don’t have a Tele anymore, but the other subforums have been helpful and interesting. I don’t know what the clientele is like now, but back in the day it was pretty accepting and gracious. It was through the TDPRI that I got to meet some great Nashville players as well as sone members from the East Coast who hauled me to a couple Bill Kirchen shows in NY. As my interests evolved, I haven’t spent much time there recently, though.
