I lost a bunch of weight, I'm hoping it helps me walk the line without crossing or tripping over it...

Yes I did - Rich was helpful thanks. I did wonder re the amp I've just bought . it has a plugged hole in the chassis for a half-power switch - is this something that could be relatively easily retro-fitted by a tech over here? Or would it be possible to have a tube-sync unit fitted (http://tubesync.co.uk/products-308.htm) ? I've got one on my '73 twin and can run it on 6L6s or El34s without having to re-bias (and can run at half-power, or even footswitch between 2 pairs of different output tubes). TBH the master volume seems to work very well, but it's always good to know what the options are.

At some point I would want to integrate it with a pedal switching system so might need to look at one of your breakout boxes (or an RJM amp gizmo if available - don't think they make them any more).

Great amp by the way - love the sounds :)

If you have a 50 it has to have 4 power tubes (so a custom-50 which is 4 x 6V6), or a 100-W with 4 power tubes. 6L6 is standard, you can swap and rebias if you like. I know nothing about this tube sync thing to comment on what it does or could do for your amp. The amp has a bias pot per tube, so no matched tubes required or any of that. Reach Rich via tech support so we don't clutter the board with tech support stuff ?
