sweet! I saw Jane's at Lollapalooza in '03 and they tore it up, would rock even harder with Eric A. back on bass.

I caught them at the Cotton Club in Atlanta back in the day, and the next night in Athens. They were an insanely good club band.

I also caught them at the first Lollapalooza, and they were great there as well, but they they didn't translate as well to the big stage. They were meant to play in hot sweaty little dives with lots of hopped up jagermeister sweating degenerates swarming the front of the stage.

IMO it isn't Jane's Addiction without Eric- hopefully they can stick it out long enough to make a new record.

I was at all those shows too! My fave was the one in Athens - at The Uptown, I think? Damn, that was a long time ago!

The last time I saw Perry on Jimmy Kimmel or somewhere, he couldn't sing anymore.

Sounds like a killer show. I think Eric was a huge part of their sound and songwriting. It's a bit like Metallica losing Cliff. He was their core. Hope to see them again one day. Thanks for the reviews and photos. I went to school in the late 80s in Long Beach. Jane's ruled LA back then. fIREHOSE was another band I loved seeing live. Shows at the Palamino in N. Hollywood.
