Anyone have a Barney Kessel or other vintage Gibson Archtops???

    ]Hey! I've got two Barney Kessel Gibsons, an early '65 with Nickel harware and the short heel, and a '67 also with the short heel......Anyone else got anything similar? I wanna see em'!

    Are those BKs standards; custom? I played with a guy who had a (laminated)spruce top BK

    AWESOME guitar!!! I'd love to have a switchmaster! Both my kessels are laminated maple standards....only a couple hundred of the kessels were solid tops.....my understanding is that they were made to "train" people in on making archtops, so often times they would make a solid top kessel instead of starting off with an l5 or super 400 ext...

    P.s.....how do you like your switchmaster? those are laminate tops as well aren't they?....i was looking at one earlier this month.....they're really cool axes!
