Not the newer stuff, the first or second album tone - would LOVE to hear if the Kemper has the goods to do this well.

I've been asking for this same thing for a while!!

Looks like them Kemper owners are a bunch of "Brown Sound" hating freaks!! lol

Seriously though, I even asked Ola, but he his 100% Metal(he oils his elbows & knees) lol

Those David Bray amps can get a very decent VH old sound, maybe someone with one of them and a KPA would get some nice profiles, but those amps are a bit hard to find.

With KPA's now dropping stateside I expect it won't be long before a great Brown sound profile becomes available.

Yeah, VH love is a mostly US-based thing.

    Dunno about that lol.
Huge EVH fan here. I still remember the impact the first album had. Im really enjoying Eddies return to the limelight in the new album too.

Hence my use of the word 'mostly'.

I'm a big fan too and not from the US, by the way. Is your home country teeming with VH fans? -mine certainly isn't. Nor is any country in my region.

I know you're right, not many seem to have a great deal of love for any of the 'great' rock guitarists any more. Plenty 80s guys love him, most others its like "didn't they used to do Jump?"

Rockstah from the Metroamp forums has pretty much nailed it both with his custom spec Metro and his playing. That's the amp you'd want to model.

Ya, I've heard some good demos of that amp, sounds like a great choice judging from the demos, but never played one, the closest one for that type of sound i've played was the David Bray.

I traded my kitchen sinked Bray modded plexi reissue for a Bogner Shiva.

I would say the Bray modded plexi reissue was great but not sure it was a perfect clone of VH1... very very very good though.

I agree... but you'll have to find a way to profile his playing too ;)

That Steavens Poundcake must be one hell of an amp, it is used several times in several different profiles and they all sound VERY good to my ears.
