I'm looking for copies of the booklets for the following instructional videos:

Robben Ford - Playin' the Blues
Robben Ford - Back to the Blues, Pt. 1 & 2
Robben Ford - The Blues and Beyond

    Pat Martino - Creative Force, Pt. 1 & 2

I'll reimburse for copying and mailing costs. Thanks so much.

Wow - that's some bad luck you've got there....

I mean, what are the chances of someone buying six instructional videos and the booklets being missing from each and every one?

I would've become suspicious after the second or so time it happened...kind of like, "Jeeez! Am I on Candid Camera or what? Or is someone really out to get me?"

Say.....you don't happen to have a peg leg and an eye patch do you?

I think the books are in pdf form, on the discs. Just load them onto your computer, and open the files. You should be able to print them out.

Actually, they're VHS videos that were donated to a middle school guitar program I created. The videos came sans booklets and I just don't have the time to transcribe everything.

Did he say he bought them? You just assumed he was a pirate.
Maybe you should find out a little more before waving that finger at someone.
I guess you would have to come down from your high horse.

Re-read the original post. How does it sound to you?

He didn't clarify things until days later.

And still, without knowing the situation, or even if one did know the situation,

would you not see something wrong with me or anyone else making .pdf files of of the aforementioned booklets and sending them to him?

It's not something I want to be involved in.

These sorts of requests pop up here and thousands of other places on the net daily. Should they all be given the benefit of the doubt and promptly receive the material they ask for, for free?

No need to fight over me, fellahs. A fellow TGPer (I can't find his information) donated the tapes to the middle school guitar program I created. I just realized there were no booklets. I made a simple request to see if anyone might be willing to copy theirs and send copies to me.

I no longer teach the program - I am now the school's counselor. My name is John Harrison and I don't fly the Jolly Roger. If you want to check me out, Google the Corvallis (OR) School District, Linus Pauling Middle School, and you'll find me.

My boss (the principal) is also a TGPer, if you'd care to ask him (Wick1).

Back to our scheduled program. Would anyone out there be willing to copy the Robben Ford booklets for me, please?
