It's surprising to me that there's already a waiting list for a pedal that many people have not heard. Is it simply for the collectable value? Or am I missing a clip somewhere?

    Thanks,

It's a new FD2! Obsessing about new pedals is all part of the American Dream. Mine's on order. :D

Like alex_law said, it's a Fulldrive II. There are a lot of us who already love the FDII and can't wait to get one with even more versatility. From what I understand it retains the sounds I already love and adds even more, so it was a no-brainer for me to order one to try. Should be here soon too since they started shipping yesterday!

    Awesome.

I'd like to hear some reviews from one of you guys, if you don't mind...

I let you know next week hopefully I will have mine next friday, Its funny I just bought a std FD-2 a couple of weeks ago but I might still keep that one any way!

This new mod just makes the pedal even more versatile!

I'm thinking I'll give my old one to my son, mine should ship Tuesday. I was a bit unsure about getting it, but I see so many "custom shop" Fulldrives that sell for just as much so I figured worse scenario is I'd pass it along.

MOSFET stands for Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor. It's a kind of transistor that clips gradually (Softly)when overdriven, as most tubes do.

I ordered one as well. I really have missed my fd2 that I sold a while back. I will keep this one!!

I got the same email! I requested number 10, don't really know why but I figured it's a nice round number, and besides, it's sterile and I like the taste.

Based on the timestamps of yesterday's forum posts, the first 25 went fast.

    I was lucky. :D

I'm reall anxious about playing with the mosfet mode now, I just got through playing with my PRS McCarty & Deluxe Reverb some what cranked and hitting it with my FD-2 in the FM mode and its such a killer Fat tone!

I ordered the anniversary edition today from Toyz. I'm in the second batch that should get to my Doorstep by Nov.9th. I didn't buy it because of the MOSFET...I bought it mainly for the normal stuff a FDII can do, but the MOSFET mode should be nice addition to boot.

Are there any other sites that have not sold out of their first run yet? I know you can get on a waiting list with musictoyz, but I want it sooner!:(

One thing you've got to learn if your trying to get nice stuff is that patience is a virtue. I'd just get on the waiting list SOON unless you surely can get on someone elses list thats sooner. I don't know if that'll happen though.

Why isn't a Blackstone just as good. Out of all the dirt boxes I never tried, I thought the Blackstone would be the one to check out. The only reason I have not is I'm happy with my current set up. Maybe I'll get a FDII mofset when they start selling on TGP.

Both a Ferrari and a Kia are powered by an internal combustion engine, but it doesn't make them the same. :D

That said, I'm sure both pedals have a reason to exist. I'd like one of each.
