I saw the Cure last night in Atlanta...what a freaking killer show!
Porl Thompson is back in the band and he did all the Keyboard parts on Guitar!! yep...no Keyboards on stage whatsoever!
I could tell Robert had his standard Boss setup into a Roland JC120...
Simon (Bass) had a pedalboard too...but I couldn't tell what it was...looked like 5 White Boss pedals...maybe different delays?
Porl had a massive board, but was on the other side from me and I couldn't really make out anything he had...
Anyone have any photos? Or info on what he was playing?
3 Hour show! Maybe the best setlist I've seen them play...tons of early songs and some deep cuts I've never heard them play.
If you are a fan go see them...they still got it.
Best Live show I've seen this year for sure.

I saw them on the Disintegration tour and it was a great show. I would love to see them this time around but I don't think it's going to happen.

Sweet! I missed Porl. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for tickets- thanks for the heads-up CFK!

I went to the Red Rocks show, I liked it a lot. Didn't get close enough to see the board though.

Porl has been using a custom Pete Cornish rig. Check out Cornish's website for some pics.

Cool yes I did find these photos..
I also think Simon had some sort of Cornish hybrid pedalboard...and maybe even Robert too...
Definitely not the same as in the "google" photos...(but thanks!!)

Saw them last night at Cleveland! What an awesome show! And yeah, 3 hours almost exactly! TONS of old stuff too.

Couldn't get close enough to check out the boards but I did see that Robert Smith was using Orange amps! :D

Very impressive sound considering that there was no keyboards! One of the best shows i've seen this year!

+1 on all of the above! Except I saw RS still is using the boss tray that holds 6 pedals and a v wah off to the side. Didn't catch the orange but porl was using a couple of cornford half stacks and a cornish board. God knows what's built into it. I'd love to know what wah he uses, the tones he was getting were fantastic. Schecter guitars for both RS and PT as well as some questionable fashion choices that appeared to have come off the rack at Hot Topic
