Anyone here built a Warmoth Mooncaster/Starcaster?

Thoughts? Let's see some pics!
Thinking of building one up VS. paying $4K+ for a vintage Fender.

I think I'd rather have the "reissue." It's more similar to a vintage one than the Warmoth, even though both are a bit off.

I haven't played a Reissue but the other Chinese Fender stuff is pretty decent.
I wish Fender had higher spec USA version closer to the originals.
I've always been very happy with Warmoth quality and I don't want the Gibson style bridge - Jazzmaster trem and Lollar Regals for me.

Me too. Hopefully they're just testing the market with the Modern Players. And if so, hopefully they're selling well.

Can you get the Mooncaster routed for a JM trem and Wide Range humbuckers?

I emailed a guy there at Warmoth.
Response was the JM trem is doable, but not sure if the surface there is entirely flat or the space large enough. It looks ok on both counts from the pics.
He mentioned they'd rather not rout for Wide Ranges as he said aftermarket pickup rings aren't quality, or words to that effect.
Lollar have rings for their Regals, so I beg to differ on that one.
