Been thinking about a TW clone and these seem really reasonable. Is the Expression model the Marshall voiced TW clone? Any thoughts, reviews, pros, cons, clips etc... Greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    I had one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8IhruXZSZ4

I think they are really nice amps. They are loud though. I ordered mine with a PPIMV and it helped a bit, but she still sounded better at a volume that was unusable for me in a lot of situations. Cleaned up really nice. I used an Alex Attenuator with mine to tame it a bit.

I eventually sold it and went with a 6v6 powered JCM800 clone from Ceriatone with some other tweeks. I like this one better for my sound, but it does not clean up as well as the TW Expression did when set to higher gain levels. However, the low gain input with the 800 circuit and pedals is a great option.

If I was going to order another one, I would have Nik wire the OT for 6v6s to tame the volume a bit. They really are nice amps-just depends on your needs.

I've only heard YouTube clips, but they sound good to me. I would have to use an attenuator though. Here is a good clip:
