My wife has an amazing dreadnought-style guitar made by a luthier named Charles Hoffman in Indiana. What a killer guitar! It sounds like a piano. The notes like to swirl around in the air a bit, and the low end is big & solid. Just an all-around great high-end acoustic.

I've played a few of Charlie's guitars and in every instance, they were outstanding. He's located in Minneapolis and still building great guitars.

Charlie Hoffman is a great luthier. I have played many of his guitars and they all sound great. Nice guy too. I think he is in Minnesota though.

I played a Hoffman 12 string and a small bodied Braz. Rosewood at Podium while visiting in Minneapolis.
    Great guitars.
In my opinion, they stood out above all the rest!

Just saw Mr. Hoffman last week. He is located just south of downtown Mpls on Franklin. His acoustic builds are outstanding. They do all my fret work and repairs. Excellent staff and the customer service is out of this world.
