I saw this brand on Youtube and went to their website. I really liked the vintage PAF sound that I heard on the clips. Good reviews at HC as well. I ordered a bridge pickup to start to put into my Driskill Diablo. Jeff was nice enough to alter his design a little bit and make the pick-up hotter for me. Something about 8.6 to 8.8. This is as hot as he thought we could go without losing the vintage PAF sound. Should be about 4 weeks but I was curious if any GPers have any experience with this pickup!

Yep, do a search, there's a few threads on them. I have a set for my Heritage that I haven't had the chance to put in yet. His strat pickups also sound pretty darn good.

I've had a set of his Tributes in my LP for almost a year and really like them. Definately better than the stock Gibsons that I had IMO.

Can't recommend them too highly. Pair of Shep's Tribute PAFs completely transformed tone and character of my small hollow body (guitar, that is). See my post tomorrow in the Green Guitar thread. I'll be putting a set into my Victor Baker next...

Nibulnibin: Which small hollow body did you put the Sheptones in?

I think you worded that wrong...or do you not like them?

You can see images of the guitar and pickup installation on page 4 of the "Let's make them GREEN with envy" thread not too far away in this forum. To give you an idea of its size, it measures 11.5 inches across the lower bout, and the body is 15.5 inches long.
