I can't find one like my guitar came with. Does Gibson sell them? Anyone else? The ones from Musicians Friend have pretty bad reviews for quality so I'm trying to find the original.

    Thanks,

Maybe GC could order one for you.

Most modern Gibson cases are manufactured by TKL. Check their site for what you're looking for.

I purchased a tweed LP case for my '81 Washburn Falcon a few months back. Got it from www.Elderly.com at around $115. Look under Gear and Accessories and then under: Cases. It's made in Canada.

The case quality is excellent. While I didn't buy it for an LP, I did put my LP in it just to see how it would fit, and it was a perfect fit.

Did Gibson ever ship guitars in tweed cases? I thought that was the other guys.
Nice find on that Ameritage case.

Oh and some purists are going to get after you for having a Tele bridge and pickup and control plate on a LP special - you'll probably have to do an extra year in purgatory for that one. Sinful pleasures and all. Great idea, but wrong.

To be clear, I meant "Brown" vs. tweed. I know they shipped those because mine has their logo on it and was bought from with the guitar originally.
