Hello all, I recently picked up a Sovtek Mig50 head and need a replacement pot for one of the volumes. It's a funky looking pot that is circuit board mounted. The shaft is a little narrower than a standard pot.

    Thanks,

    Jim

I'd replace them all, since they're pretty bad and it's easier to do it all at once. Replace them with chassis-mount pots from Mouser, attach them with flying leads and you'll have a much more reliable Mig.

I did that to a power amp, didn't take long at all, you'll probably never find the board mount direct replacement ... they're something Russian, that I'd bet.

I was hoping to not spend the money replacing all of them with chassis mounted pots, but I dont think I have a choice.

Those migs were scrapped together using Russian military surplus and broken souls crushed under 70 years of Communism. You probably won't find a direct replacement. That said, I LOVE those amps!

Find good Alpha pots and chassis mount 'em!
